If like me you are concerned by the poor state of Horsforths roads, paths and ginnels please visit my group at http://www.flickr.com/groups/horsforth/ and post your own comments and photographs.

Also could you pass the web address to anyone you know who may be interested.

Thank you

Dear frienfd

If you find potholes or graffiti, you can report it at http://www.leeds.gov.uk/Do_It_Online/Report_online.aspx , but some of those photos are so trivial I can understand the council not taking action. There are way more important things to spend my Council Tax on!

Thank you to all who have visited the website and especially to those of you who have E Mailed me your support. I have added the photographs that have been sent to me of various areas of disrepair and passed them on to Leeds City Council. Please continue to support the campaign and pass on the link to anyone you know who may be interested.

Thank you to Andrea Hardaker for supporting the Campaign through her column in the "Wharfedale and Airdale Observer"
http://www.wharfedaleobserver.co.uk/new ... ed_online/

Also thank you for all the supporting PMs, E Mails and photographs that have been sent to me, I have passed them all on to Leeds City Council and will continue to post them on our website at http://www.flickr.com/groups/horsforth/

There was an interesting article at http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/n ... 5582618.jp last night that confirmed the fact that Leeds City Councillors have wasted over 10 Million Pounds which could of been used for repairing our streets! It seems that Leeds is the worst in the Country (...and I suspect Horsforth is the worst area in Leeds!)

Thanks for your support Bob, we seem to be getting some action out of Leeds now!

This weekend the Roundabout at Woodside started to be re-surfaced as a direct result of the campaign.

Any one who is interested can keep up to developments on the campaign blog now too...

They have just resurfaced Hall Park Avenue. When I say resurfaced I mean patched up AGAIN. Slices have been done and slices left. Puddles in different places now.

Also the footpath between Hall Park Avenue and Hall Lane was done a couple of years ago. It is dangerous now. All ups and downs. I got pushed in a wheelchair along it the other day. Bump bump bump. Don't know if it is worth it.

Hi Sylvia, sorry to hear you were in a wheelchair. Are you OK now?

You need to get some photographs taken of the footpath between Hall Park Avenue and Hall Lane and send them to frienfd of Horsforth!

He seems to be shaming Leeds into some action!

Good on him I say...
